The Charter School of San Diego (CSSD) has recently opened a classroom location in the Sabre Springs community. The Springbrook classroom, at 11385 Poway Road, Suite 101, San Diego, 92128, serves 7th – 12th grade students throughout the local area including the communities of Sabre Springs, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Scripps Ranch, Mira Mesa, and beyond.
The Charter School of San Diego is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. For the past 14 years, CSSD has been dedicated to transforming lives by nurturing student achievement. We have been repeatedly recognized for our quality instructional program and our strong operational performance; making us one of the best charter schools in California. CSSD focuses on academic improvement, high caliber teaching, and safe and supportive learning environments.
Its instructional design is based on a "University Model," where students work independently and attend classes, labs, or tutorials two-to-five times per week. Students take one to two courses at a time. By concentrating on one to two subjects, students are able to better focus on content. We have specialty teachers in the fields of math and science that are available to work with students in these areas.
Preparation for the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) is provided to all students. Students interested in taking the GED and CHSPE benefit from our program as well, we provide ample test preparation and materials for these high school equivalency exams.
Classes operate year-round with an open-enrollment policy, allowing students to enroll any time of the year.
