Webmail Options for Hosting Clients

Nashville Web Hosting Resources

spirals - nashville web development

If you are a web hosting client with BestWeb Nashville, then you have access to webmail - a feature I may not have told you about. In fact, there is not just one webmail application. You have three webmail application options. You can click on them to jump to a summary of the respective webmail service:

  1. Horde
  2. RoundCube
  3. SquirrelMail

The quickest way to access your webmail account is to navigate to:

The URI above will take you to a screen with several choices, including the three webmail applications above. Of course, you will need to input your email address along with your password. I personally have not used all three, as I am not a frequent user of webmail; however, the one I have used to some extent is RoundCube. I found it to be quite intuitive and easy to use.

If you have a preference as to which of the three webmail applications you want to use, there is a way to skip the choice screen and go straight to the login for the webmail application of your choice. Here are the links; be sure to replace to your actual domain name:

  1. Horde:
  2. SquirrelMail:
  3. RoundCube:

Again, all you need are your email address (which is your user name) and your password.

I hope this provides an extra level of convenience for you, especially when you are traveling and need webmail access.

More on these Webmail Apps

Horde works fine, but it is more than just a simple webmail client: it has numerous features (a calendar and a bunch of other stuff) which give Horde a rather cluttered interface. You have to navigate through their UI (user interface) with a couple of clicks to reach your webmail inbox. If you want to learn more about Horde, just check out their website.

SquirrelMail is easy to use and takes you straight to your webmail inbox. If you want to learn more about SqurrelMail, you can visit their website.

RoundCube is the webmail client I have used the most. It is quite simple and easy to use, and the login takes you straight to your webmail inbox. Check out the SquirrelMail website for more information.
